यह कविता घमंड और विनम्रता के बारे में है। कवि अपने घर के छज्जे पर खड़ा था और अपने जीवन में दुःख न होने पर घमंड कर रहा था। तभी अचानक एक तिनका उसकी आँख में गिर गया। उस छोटे से तिनके ने उसका सारा घमंड चूर-चूर कर दिया।
Yah kavita ghamand aur vinamrata ke bare mein hai. Kavi apne ghar ke chajje par khada tha aur apne jeevan mein dukh na hone par ghamand kar raha tha. Tabhi achanak ek tinaka uski aankh mein gir gaya. Us chhote se tinake ne uska sara ghamand chur-chur kar diya.
This poem is about arrogance and humility. The poet was standing on the terrace of his house and was being proud that there was no sorrow in his life. Suddenly, a straw fell into his eye. That small straw shattered all his pride.
